While hubby was watching discovery channel and it was about scubadiving, I was saddened. I badly miss scubadiving. I badly miss being under the water. I badly miss being in a complete solitude. I badly miss giggling all by myself after watching a funny creature crashed to another funny looking sea creature. And I regret not scubadiving with my closest friends Harold and Ging. Kelan kaya ako makakascubadive ulit? Some pictures of me under the water:

Due to insistent public demand for paidblogging, LOL! I made a detour HERE. If you're bored reading about my personal life in this site, you can direct yourself in my new detour blogsite. Although this site will still be my main blog, the detour site will be a totally different blog, a different approach. I made some cross-postings and will made more cross-postings for important entries, but basically THIS DETOUR will be more about good finds both in the net and mall shopping, my make-up passion what-have-yous, gadgets obsessions, awesome inventions and memes, tags and awards will all be posted there, and there will be no entry about my life and my family. Nothing really personal, all for the sake of making a blog with random discoveries. See you all there and don't leave me here as well. toodles!
For the longest time, I have been the "baby" of my immediate family as well as my 1st and 2nd degree cousins, aunts, uncles, lolos and lolas. I don't know why, maybe because in my family, I am the bunso and the only girl. And as my friends would always tell me I have this infectious smile/laughter and I am a child in sooo many ways, not childish but child-like. My being naive in many facts about life also added to this. I remembered when I walked down the aisle, my aunts and my older cousins cried sooo much that I asked them after my wedding WHY? Di daw sila makapaniwala na ang baby nila eh ikakasal na! Would you believe that, they think I stopped aging at 15!
For the past 2 months, I have been an "ate" (in every sense of the word) to my cousins who are 14 and 12 years younger than me. Yna was vacationing from vegas and Kaye is a freshman in UP Manila, she grew up in Abu Dhabi. These are my babies-cousins when I was a teener. I felt really overwhelmed giving advices to them about love, education and beauty&hygiene. They are definitely complete opposites. The only thing that's common about them is their passion for clothes. They both have very good taste in fashion.
Last weekend was their last few days with us. We went scubadiving and shopped till wee hours! When we dropped Yna and her mom in the airport and brought Kaye back to her dorm last sunday, I felt really really sad, I missed them at home. It seemed like they have been with us for 10 years, our house feels empty. I wish to see them again soon! I'm scheduling kaye's photoshoot next month and I'll probably visit Yna in vegas before christmas =P.

Today I turned twenty eight/28 or vingt huit in french. Unlike my previous birthday celebrations, this one has been the most silent birthday of my life. I still got the usual surprise from my office friends (i say 'usual', because i have always predicted the exact time they will throw that anniversaire surprise for me!). But for this year, i opted to just have lunch with my family, no other biggie parties nor the extravagant treating out of friends. I wanted it to be simple and less expensive. A bit weird though, because there was even a moment that i didn't feel it was my birthday. Maybe i was too afraid to age another year and it'll be very easy to count 2 more birthdays and i'll be 30! Or maybe i was pressured that i haven't been doing so many changes in my life. Maybe not. Maybe i'm wrong.
There's a big difference now that i'm a mother, i took into consideration ethan's most comfortable mealtime, lunch! It was him i wanted to enjoy the most and not me, the celebrant. We just had this short but sumptous lunch over at Banana Leaf Curry in Alabang. I love the food, i love the place! I thought it was a wise decision that our table was situated besides their playground as we can easily slide the door so ethan can play but we were wrong, he had tantrums when we let him stop playing so he could join us for lunch. But what can a mother do, he's just 16-months old! So titan and i took turns in babysitting him, but we still enjoyed the food and the day. Not to mention that i lost a precious two-toned bracelet while carrying ethan on our way back to the parking lot =(.
Afterwards, Titan and i were invited by his dad to join them for dinner in marikina, so we went, without ethan this time. To my surprise daddy bobby really prepared for the dinner: there were crabs, dinuguan, paksiw lechon etc...hay lafang ever!

Thanks to all those who remembered by texting, emailing, calling, bloghopping or even in their thoughts remembering that it was my day. Thanks really. From the bottom of my heart. Despite the simplicity, this one's really memorable and touching.

I have fever (with a 38 temp), a very bad case of LBM, my joints and head are painful. I missed my check out dive in anilao today!!! =( Which means, i'll be getting my license a little later than the rest of my group.
I guess my body was a little weak for the diet, the work-out and the scuba diving lessons. Yes, i did all of them altogether in a week's time, we even had scuba diving training till 10pm on a weekday! Hay, i wish this isn't as serious as what my mom suspects it to be---an intestinal flu or worst an amoebiasis!
I don't medicate myself heheheh, coz as expected i've been losing a pound a day and that's what i want, to be paperthin!!! I just wish that i don't pass on to my little boy, whatever is this that is happening to my body.
I can't be sick for a week, i've been looking forward to this Cebu Tour with my mom and a couple of my friends starting July 1/Canada Day.

Here's what i texted my diver-friends after my 1st pool session of Scuba Diving lessons...YES! I still can't believe that i did it and enjoyed it. I'll write a detailed story once my check out dive is finished! Can't wait to get my diver's license...The feeling was just exhilarating!!!
Oh Yes! After much persuasion, i finally gave in to the request of my dico to join him in his Open Water Scubadiving Lessons! Today, we had a meeting with the instructor, paid half of the fee and he gave us this manual to be read before the 17th, our 1st intro dive lesson. This is it!

I knew Titan, will be very very envious, but it's impossible to fit the classes in his schedule. So this weekend we're off to anilao, he and my brother will be taking this 1-day intro dive at Rockport.
